I enjoy reading mysteries, listening to music (blues, pop, classical, rock, country, etc.), walking on the beach, working on the computer (online courses, writing, statistics, etc.), and having fun with family & friends -- not in that order. At work, my favorite activity is interacting with students whether in or out of the classroom. I also find it rewarding to try different teaching strategies. 

• If you like humor as much as I do, you may want to visit . (Be forewarned, in my opinion, Dilbert is oftentimes very funny and at other times not so funny). 
• I use current nursing and health information from sites such as the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Georgia Nurses Association (GNA), the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), and National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).
• Another great resource for teachers and students is Merlot. Go there to find materials for Web courses and other online activities. 
• If you want to learn more about culture, the Transcultural Nursing Society is for you.
• Another site you may find interesting is TerraServer, a place to help you find many locations in the world, including Statesboro, if you are patient. Do not be misled if you find a place called Statesborough -- it is not my town!
