Seed Grants

The Supporting Pilot Rural Investigations Grant program (SPRInG) is designed to provide seed funding to investigators to enable them to collect pilot data or conduct other preliminary studies necessary for the preparation of a competitive grant submission to an external funder. Faculty are eligible to receive up to $10,000 to support an interdisciplinary rural health research project. Recipients must submit a peer-reviewed journal article and an external grant application within one year of completion of the project.

Applications for the 2011-2012 Academic Year must be received by 5pm October 7, 2011.
