Georgia Southern Botanical Garden preserves the natural beauty of the southeastern coastal plain and is a valuable research and educational resource for faculty and students. It also offers a variety of continuing education programs for the community. Centered on an early 20th-century farmstead, the garden's 11-acre site features walking woodland trails, heritage and native plant landscape gardens, a camellia collection, a children's vegetable garden and many other plants.
