How to Use the Univerity Template

Where do I put my Content?

After you have downloaded the template file you can bring it into any web editing tool. When you view the source code you will see a commented area that looks like the below example. All you need to do is put your source code or content between the Content Start and Content Stop comments. If you are using Dreamweaver you can start placing your content where you see Sample Text Sample Text. Once you have done this you will need to upload your new file to the server before you see the header and side menu.

DO NOT delete or move any of the server side includes that are provided with the template. These are important so your site will display properly

Do I have to put in my College, School, or Department Name in the same place?

Each site must have their College, School, or Department Name at the top of the page and within the <h1></ h1> tags that are provided in the Template. The template style sheet will control the font and color of each nameplate.
