*Lab reports
for those labs with an asterisk* are due at 9:00 PM Wednesday of the next
week after the lab. Labs when turned in, will be written
up in the format described in your Lab Manual pp. xii - xviii, and also
include your answers to the Review Sheet Exercise questions for each exercise.
Labs turned in late will have points deducted (-5 pts for the 1st hour
late, and an additional -5 pts for each day late).

ATTENDANCE POLICY: Punctual attendance and participation in all labs form the foundation for successful completion of this course. Each student is expected to be present for all labs. You are responsible for all course material covered in lab during any absence. The roll will be called, all tardiness and absences recorded. Attendance at lab examinations is mandatory. There are no make-up exams on missed Lab Exams.
PARTICIPATION: Observation of lab safety rules, taking care to read the lab before the day of the scheduled lab, and following to the letter the details of the exercise protocol for assigned labs are required for completion of this course. Formal lab reports are required on those labs with an asterisk*. Labs turned in late will have points deducted (-5 pts for the 1st hr late, and an additional -5 pts for each day late). There are no make-ups on unannounced quizzes missed in laboratory. Quizzes missed are recorded as zero (0).
CHEATING: Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated and will be dealt with in accordance with the GSU HONOR CODE as spelled out in the Student Conduct Code, Policies and Procedures on-line.
LAB EXAMS: Lab exams usually consist of a variety of questions for example: fill-in-the-blank, multiple-choice, define and identify, matching and essay/discussion. Questions are drawn from lab manual reading assignments and lab lectures. Points will be lost for use of poor grammar on examinations or in lab reports. Correct spelling will be emphasized and expected.
