MyCAA Scholarship

Military spouses can receive career training scholarships.

Get financial educational support as a military spouse.

As a military spouse, you may be eligible to receive a $4,000 scholarship towards enhancing your career. The My Career Advancement Account scholarship assists military spouses in pursuit or maintenance of a license, certification or associate degree necessary to gain employment in an occupation or career field.  We offer a wide variety of self-paced, online training programs that can prepare you to work in some of the fastest growing, most in-demand industries in the country. Improving your likelihood of finding career opportunities, no matter where you get stationed.

Who is eligible for MyCAA scholarships?

You must be the spouse of an active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines service member in pay grades E1-E6, W1-W2, or O1-O3 who have successfully completed high school and have the ability to request tuition assistance while their military sponsor is on Title 10 military orders are eligible. The first 1,250 approved applicants in pay grades E-6 and O-3 will receive MyCAA financial assistance based on available funding.

Spouses married to members of the National Guard and reserves in these same pay grades are eligible. If your spouse is in the National Guard or is an AGR Member, they must be on federal Title 10 active duty orders.

Spouses remain eligible for financial assistance if their sponsor is promoted above the eligible pay grades as long as the spouse has a previously approved education and training plan

You must be able to finish your program within 18 months of starting
