March 22, 2021: New Faculty Research Procedures and Website

Dear Colleagues,

Our primary goal in the Office of Research is to support faculty and staff in their research endeavors. You have asked for some changes in our procedures and we have listened. Today, I am pleased to announce that we have streamlined our submission procedures to better serve you.

The new procedures can now be found on our completely redesigned website, which launches today. The new website provides a wealth of information on how to secure and manage grants in an easy and user-friendly experience. On the website, you will find information about the new proposal initiation platform, new budgeting tools, and the new early internal approval option. These online tools will mean less paperwork and improved communication templates.

I also want to let you know that we will be hosting several mini faculty workshops (15 – 30 minutes), such as:

·        “How do I submit a proposal?”

·        “How do I generate a draft budget?”
