If you are a classroom teacher interested in increasing your curricular and instructional skills, the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Accomplished Teaching was designed for you.  In this fully online program, courses are offered on a continuous basis allowing for part-time enrollment, and you will not be required to visit campus to complete the program.

This curriculum and instruction master’s degree (M.Ed.) is offered through three fully accredited universities in the University System of Georgia: Valdosta State University, Georgia Southern University and Columbus State University. Top graduate faculty from each school teach the online courses.

Professional Certification Disclosure

The Department of Elementary and Special Education anticipates that graduates of the M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction will be eligible to seek professional certification by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission as a certified teacher in Curriculum and Instruction.

The Department of Elementary and Special Education has determined the required classes and educational activities of these academic programs will qualify a graduate of this program to take the GACE exam for Curriculum and Instruction certification in Georgia. The department has not determined whether these programs satisfy the requirements of all states and territories for certification in Curriculum and Instruction.
