Dr. Damon A. Williams Keynote
As part of our commitment to build a safe, diverse and inclusive environment at Georgia Southern University, we have invited nationally-recognized consultant, Damon Williams, Ph.D., to assess our current strengths and weakness related to issues of diversity and inclusion.
Dr. Williams will be on our campuses on Friday, October 26 and again November 5-7. During this time he will hold multiple meetings with students, faculty and staff on all three of our campuses.
There will also be two sessions of the keynote address, “From Awareness, to Action, to Innovation: Empowering Leaders Through Inclusive Excellence.” The first keynote address will be held on the Statesboro campus in the Carter Recital Hall – Foy Building from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 26. The second keynote address will be held on the Armstrong campus in the Ogeechee Theatre from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6.
