President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC)
The President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC), which held its first meeting on September 16, 2019, is a student-only advisory group to the president that meets every two weeks. It was formed to provide honest, on-going discussions between various student groups on campus and the president.
The council will be hosting three “Courageous Conversations” panel discussions/town halls over the next several months and will be identifying additional student organization events to develop an overall “Inclusive Excellence” series. This will be supported by University Communications and Marketing to ensure students are aware of these opportunities and events. In addition, we will continue our “Protect Our Nest” series with a goal of continuous dialogue and relationship building with our university, city and county police officers.
