First-Time Use

Accessing your MyGS portal for the first time? Use the videos above or our first-time user guide for step-by-step instructions.

First-Time User Guide
  1. Navigate to
  2. Click First-Time User
  3. Complete the form to Get User Information
  4. Create your new password and click Submit
  5. Click Login to MyGeorgiaSouthern on the confirmation screen
  6. At the login screen, click Login
  7. Enter your new credentials and click Login

After completing the IT Appropriate Use and Security Question forms, you’ll gain access to the MyGeorgiaSouthern portal. We’ve created a welcome message and tutorial to help guide you. You can also use the tutorial videos to get familiar with the portal.
