Biography

Kevin’s research develops new insights into how individual differences and contextual factors impact the negative and positive relationships that employees develop and maintain with their employers (e.g., psychological contract breach), leaders (e.g., social networks), team members (e.g., conflict), and co-workers (e.g., co-worker exclusion). His research has appeared or is forthcoming in European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Group and Organization Management, Human Performance, Human Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Management and Organization, Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and Occupational Health Science. Kevin’s research received a 2017 Journal of Business and Psychology Editor Commendation, the 2015 Southwest Academy of Management McGraw-Hill Distinguished Paper Award (Best Overall Conference Paper), a 2018 University of Richmond Robins School of Business Best Paper Award, a 2011 University of Texas at El Paso Department of Marketing and Management Outstanding Research Award (Best Paper in the Department) and College of Business Administration Les Parker Excellence in Research Award (Best Paper in the College of Business). His research and expertise have also appeared in Chemistry World, CMSWire, Discover Richmond, Forbes, Fast Company, and Harvard Business Review. Kevin serves as a senior associate editor for Group and Organization Management and as an editorial board member for Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Business and Psychology. His reviewing efforts have resulted in a Group and Organization Management Outstanding Reviewer Award, being selected as a Group and Organization Management Outstanding Reviewer Award finalist, four Academy of Management Annual Meeting Organizational Behavior Division Outstanding Reviewer Awards and one Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division Outstanding Reviewer Award, being selected as a Journal of Organizational Behavior Best Paper Selection Committee member, and being selected as a member of the INGRoup Annual Conference Best Paper Selection Committee.
