Welcome to the Statesboro Campus
Welcome to Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro Campus, a place where tradition and innovation meet. Home to more than 20,000 students, the Statesboro Campus is the oldest and largest campus at the University, and combines Georgian-style buildings, grand live oaks and sprawling lawns with state-of-the-art facilities for research, study, recreation and dining. The campus is located in historic Statesboro, a charming and dynamic college town built around a shop-lined Main Street, and recently voted one of America’s Best Communities. It’s an experience that offers the exciting benefits of a large university and the personal feel of a smaller college. Students can choose from a wide range of hands-on degree programs in Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Business, Science and Mathematics, Public Health and many more. Our world-class faculty not only work with students in the classroom, but perform cutting-edge research in which they engage both undergraduate and graduate students through experiential learning. Get involved in one of 300 clubs and organizations, workout or join exercise classes at the massive Recreation Activity Center, or just explore the walkways, trails, botanic garden, museum and nature center across the 900-acre campus of seemingly endless possibilities.
