Julia P. Bryant (JPB) Elementary School (about 2 miles from GS Statesboro) is looking for Fall 2021 IT interns.
Technical Liaison Internship Description:
As an intern at JPB under the technical liaison position you will serve as support to teachers, students, and staff in all things related to technology. This includes but is not limited to:
- Chromebook cleaning, repair, and distribution
- Desktop and laptop repair and software support/installation (Windows 7/10)
- Promethean Panel and panel OPS support (Windows 10)
- Student lab setup/takedown
- Inventory Management of all technology using Destiny
- Disposal of surplus technology items
In addition to these tasks, interns will assist the technical liaison with all other duties asked of school personnel. Interns will also assist the liaison in serving as a help desk for any technology related questions teachers and other staff may have, while forwarding work requests to the appropriate support staff if the issue cannot be resolved alone.
Requirements: A background check at the Bulloch County Schools main office is required, and an interview with the Principal and Technical Liaison is required (A virtual interview is acceptable)
This position meets IT4790 requirements. The intern will need to pass a background check.
