Now Accepting Smart Community Corps Summer Internship Applications
Make a Difference in Local Georgia Projects; Earn Summer Stipends of $8k 

The Smart Community Corps (SCC) is the first statewide effort of its kind for civic-minded students to gain hands-on smart city experience. Working as a summer cohort and in community pairs, interns are placed into project sites to support innovation work that is dedicated to creating livable and equitable communities. The program is part of the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation (PIN), a public private partnership launched in 2020 to lead coordinated, statewide efforts to position Georgia as the Technology Capital of the East Coast. 

In addition to a full-time summer stipend, SCC are provided curriculum programming in sustainability, innovation, career development and mentorship. The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students of any major from any Georgia higher education institution. This summer there are 16 project site locations including Savannah, Atlanta, Albany, Columbus, and others!
