The BWAY Homerville, GA facility currently has a IT Internship opportunity available.
BWAY is looking for an intern that can convert a Microsoft Access database to an SQL database. We are open to IT, CS, and other majors. Undergraduate and graduate students, including international students, are welcome to apply. This position is located at the Homerville, GA plant.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties consist of but are not limited to:
- Migrating all database objects from an Access database to a new SQL Server database.
- Creating a unique index that can be updated in Access.
- Assigning permissions on the SQL database.
- Training employees on the use of the SQL database.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and eager to learn.
