Locally owned and operated since 1951, Bulloch Telephone Cooperative is Statesboro’s leading communications expert and is the first and only certified gig capable provider in Georgia. Bulloch Telephone also has all fiber optic network, allowing better connectivity and faster services to all we serve. This part-time internship meets IT 4790 requirements for qualified students.  The position is located within Statesboro, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Plant and Central Office associates
• Update database with accurate information
• Keep record of retired and damaged equipment
• Monitor network to ensure the acceptable use policy is upheld
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, networks and printers
• Ability to organize, follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner

Qualification:

• Have full time status at an accredited four year college or university
• Completed at least 30 credit hours
• General knowledge of networking and modern versions of Windows

Requirements:

• Proactive towards learning new concepts
• Work well with others
• Friendly and effective communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

• Bulloch Telephone pays students on a bi-weekly basis.
• Paychecks can be directly deposited into student’s personal checking or savings account.
