Santos Green co-edits book on flipped classroom model

theflippedcollegeclassroomLucy Santos Green, Ed.D., associate professor of instructional technology in the Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development, is a co-editor of a new book on the concept of flipped classrooms. The flipped classroom is a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture elements are reversed and students view video lectures at home and participate in activities and projects within the classroom. The book, entitled “The Flipped College Classroom,” provides step-by-step instructions on how to flip a classroom and improve teaching and learning and also includes case study examples from 32 fields from across the United States and in other countries.

Santos Green co-edited this book along with colleagues Jennifer Banas of Northeastern Illinois University and Ross Perkins of Boise State University.

The book was published November 9 by Springer International Publishing.
