Georgia Southern alumna nominated for Country Music Association award

Georgia Southern University alumni are full of great personalities, and one alumna is being recognized for hers.
Department of Communication Arts alumna Kelley Bradshaw Brock and her co-hosts from the Ken, Kelley and Daniel radio show on WUSY in Chattanooga, Tennessee, are nominated for the 2018 Country Music Association (CMA) Broadcast Personality of the Year Award in a Medium Market.
Brock and the show are one of five nominees for the award, and the winner will be recognized at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards in November in Nashville.
Brock is a 2015 graduate of Georgia Southern, where she majored in multimedia communication.
Nominees and winners for the 2018 CMA Broadcast Awards and The 52nd Annual CMA Awards are determined by more than 7,400 professional members of CMA, which is the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music, established in 1958 and celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
