Volunteer at this year’s Army ROTC Freedom Run

The Georgia Southern University Army ROTC program is looking for volunteers for this year’s Freedom Run 5K/10K race set for April 22 at the RAC Pavilion. Volunteers are needed at water points throughout the race route and for general route management as they guide runners on course. The Freedom Run is held each year to help support organizations that assist current members of the military and veterans alike. The proceeds from the 2017 Freedom Run will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation and assist with funding the day-to-day activities of the Eagle Battalion. Professional timers will be at the race, and a bike and Yeti cooler will be raffled off during the event. Anyone interested in volunteering should email Allison Rainey at arainey@georgiasouthern.edu by April 7. Anyone interested in participating in the race can register here.
