Georj Lewis, alumnus, former VP of Student Affairs, nominated as Pillar of the Profession by NASPA

Georj Lewis, Ed.D., alumnus and former vice president of student affairs at Georgia Southern, has been nominated as a Pillar of the Profession by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Foundation Board in recognition of his many years of outstanding work in higher education. 

Pillars of the Profession pays tribute to a select group of people who have served as leaders, teachers, mentors and scholars in student affairs and higher education. Each individual is nominated and supported by colleagues, friends, former students and others who find him or her to be deserving of this honor. Lewis will be honored at the virtual NASPA Annual Conference in March 2021.

Faculty, staff or students who would like to send a handwritten note can do so at the Office of Student Affairs locations on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses. The cards will be mailed in to NASPA to be given to him with the award. You may also email Lucy Fort at lfort@naspa.org with a copy of your note.
