use of 3D printer to Bulloch County elementary school
Sallie Zetterower Elementary School was named the winner of the 3D Printer for Your School contest hosted by the College of Education’s Innovation Studio at Georgia Southern University. The printer was delivered to the Sallie Zetterower Elementary STEM Lab on Dec. 12 during the 5th grade STEM class.
His True Blue spirit is out of this world
Statesboro native James Shaw (‘16) is living the life his 5-year-old self dreamed of — working for NASA. The engineering major just finished his fourth rotation at a co-op with NASA and is thanking his True Blue experiences for leading him there.
Third time’s the charm: Triple Eagle
earns doctorate in psychology
This Fall, nearly 1,700 graduates walked across the stage in Paulson Stadium to become University alumni. One Eagle in particular made this walk for the third time, giving her an official “Triple Eagle” status.
Nikki Giovanni is 2017 MLK Celebration speaker at Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern will welcome Nikki Giovanni, world-renowned poet, writer, commentator, activist and educator, to campus on Wednesday, Jan. 18. As the University’s 2017 MLK Celebration speaker, Giovanni will present her speech, “The Right to Dream,” for the annual event. Each year, the MLK Celebration provides an opportunity for the campus and local community to gather and celebrate the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Georgia Southern Athletics announces Hoops Holiday Getaway
