Fashion executive, self-made multimillionaire and “Shark Tank” entrepreneur Daymond John will be the speaker at Georgia Southern’s university-wide commencement ceremony at Paulson Stadium in May.

Georgia Southern’s Armstrong Campus hosts annual high school congressional competition exhibition
The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide high school visual art contest to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation. In conjunction with the competition, the Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus will host “An Artistic Discovery,” showcasing competition entries from Georgia’s 1st Congressional District. The event is free and open to the public.
Georgia Southern’s online RN to BSN program ranked one of most affordable in nation
Georgia Southern University’s School of Nursing’s RN-BSN program, designed exclusively for registered nurses who wish to earn a B.S. in nursing (BSN), was recently named one of the most affordable of its kind in the nation by GreatValueColleges.net. Out of 50 schools included on the 2019 list, Georgia Southern took the No. 27 spot.
Outstanding alumnus provides lead gift for Hanner Fieldhouse renovation, honored by USG
The University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents recently honored E.G. Meybohm of Augusta, a former Georgia Southern University baseball and men’s basketball student-athlete, as the first Georgia Southern alumnus to receive its Hall of Fame Alumni and Friends Award.
