Georgia Southern Alumni Association accepting nominations for 40 Under 40 alumni
The Georgia Southern University Alumni Association has launched the 40 Under 40 recognition program for 2018. This honor recognizes young Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University alumni who are leading the way in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors.
Clothing Closet helps students dress for success
During the sixth annual Clothing Closet event on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah, more than 370 students selected individual garment pieces, shoes and accessories to comprise one business outfit, free of charge.
Treasure Savannah: Georgia Southern gives back to the community
On Saturday, nearly 200 Georgia Southern University students, faculty and staff arrived on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah to volunteer for Treasure Savannah, a biannual day of service. Following an early-morning welcome from University Vice President for Armstrong and Liberty Campus Operations Christopher Curtis, Ph.D., volunteers boarded buses departing to 13 service sites throughout Savannah.
