Biography

Yuan Li is an assistant professor of marketing in the Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University. She has received her Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio, master’s degree in consumer sciences from the University of Arizona, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Zhongnan University of Finance and Law. Her primary area of research focuses on how consumers’ perception and preference is shaped by the visual marketing information. Li’s research interests include marketing design, visual information processing, aesthetics, and cultural influence. Prior to her academic career, she worked at management and consultancy positions at companies such as Dell and Nielsen.
