Discover the Potential of ASCM: Elevate Your Supply Chain Management Career with Our New Partnership!

Let’s begin by exploring the ASCM Savannah Chapter. The Association for Supply Chain Management is dedicated to providing training, development and corporate solutions in the South Georgia region. This encompasses enhancing productivity, implementing resource planning, devising supply chain strategies, managing logistics and more. In the fall of 2023, Georgia Southern University Division of Continuing and Professional  Education forged a partnership with the ASCM Savannah Chapter, aiming to boost local enrollment in their dynamic live-online courses within the rapidly growing field of supply chain management.

Employers prioritize APICS certifications when looking for suitable candidates, and obtaining a certification will prove your dedication to the industry and set you apart from other candidates.  The training will empower you to be a leader in the industry. The certifications below take an in-depth approach to logistics, supply chain, and inventory, making you a more valuable asset to interested corporations worldwide. This collaboration introduces three live-online certifications: Certificate in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Certificate in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), and Certificate in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

Surprisingly, these certifications unlock not just a variety of job titles, including Supply Chain Director, Distribution Manager, Logistics Manager, and more, but also present over 8,000 job openings in the state of Georgia, with over 70 being in Statesboro. The average salary for management positions in Georgia ranged from $75,000 to $110,000 in 2023, underscoring the importance of adding a CLTD, CSCP or CPIM certification to your resume.
