BWAY Data Migration and Access Application Project
BWAY is looking for an intern that can continue a data migration and Access application project. We are open to IT students concentrating in data science, information management, or computer science majors. Undergraduate junior or above and graduate students, including international students, are welcome to apply. This position is located in Homerville, Ga.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties consist of but are not limited to:
- Continuation of project developing Microsoft Access application parts to fit the need of production management.
- Create VBA scripts to preform calculations on data within the Microsoft Access application.
- Training affected employees on use and management of system.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and eager to learn.
- Experience developing databases with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience developing Microsoft Access applications including knowledge of VBA scripting.
- Familiar with Data Visualization and Statistics.
- Ability to perform ETL Processes from Access to SQL server with SSMA.
- Ability to work independently.
