OPS AND TECH JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

FUNCTION: To gain experience in the Information Technology and Deposit Operations field in a real world environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with current Operations and Technology personnel on various levels:
• Aid in installing, upgrading and troubleshooting all computer hardware and software bank wide:
• Assist in fulfilling all incoming service requests
• Help with staff moves and software installations.
• Spend time shadowing members of the IT Department and Deposit Operations.
• Assist with Information Security, Disaster Recovery, and Vendor Management processes, as well as help with the bank’s social media presence.
• Assist with Regulatory Compliance.
• Assist with Bank Secrecy Act.
• Assist with compiling information for External Audits or Exams.
• Maintains reports for research and compliance.
• E-statement administration
• Mobile App/Remote Deposit
• Knowledgeable about DDA, Savings, COD’s and IRA’s
• Knowledgeable about all aspects of Mastercard debit cards, ordering, limit changes, hot carding, EFT disputes and tracking for compliance
• Knowledge of retail online and business online, set-up, password resets and bill pay
• Knowledgeable about telephone banking and PIN changes and verifications
• Coordinates branch capture process, able to process teller work accurately and efficiently
• All other duties as assigned by VP/Operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES – Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or Finance program. Willingness and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently as needed.  Must have high integrity, willingness to work hard, enthusiasm, and be detail oriented.

Ideally, the intern would work 4-6 hours on Monday, no Tuesdays (unless Monday is a holiday), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 4-6 hours each day.
