Kim named a Chancellor’s Learning Scholar
Jackie HeeYoung Kim, Ed.D., professor in the Department of Leadership, Technology and Human Development, was named a Chancellor’s Learning Scholar (CLS), by the University System of Georgia (USG).
CLSs are representatives from each institution in the USG who facilitate Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) on their campuses. FLCs allow faculty the opportunity to engage sustained and meaningful conversations about teaching and learning with supportive colleagues from across their campus and disciplines. Members of the FLCs will meet regularly throughout the length of the program and are encouraged to make changes or provide innovation in their classrooms.
Efforts are supported by the USG to include transparency in learning and teaching, high-impact practices, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
