Jim has been teaching at Armstrong/Georgia Southern since 1997. His research interests include algebraic geometry, combinatorics, and voting theory. He coordinates the Eagle Problem Solvers, a problem-solving group of GSU students and faculty, and has mentored research projects with five undergraduate students. He currently serves as associate department chair.
