Georgia Southern has extended the priority deadline for FAFSA filing to April 1. We’re encouraging you to file your application NOW so you can qualify for as much financial aid as possible.
The FAFSA is essential for accessing both state and federal aid programs. When completing your FAFSA, don't forget to include Georgia Southern University's school code, 001572.

What You Need to File
You’re going to need several important items to properly file your FAFSA. These include:
- 2022 Tax returns
- Records of child support received
- Current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts
- Net worth of investments, businesses, and farms
