FastPitch program getting bigger and better

The FastPitch program is getting bigger and better. It was successfully launched in Nov. 2009 with 15 competitors and 3 sponsors. The second competition, which was postponed from November 2010, is now happening on March 31st and applications close on March 1st. The competition has developed somewhat and is now a regional competition including Savannah, the Creative Coast (including parts of South Carolina) and Statesboro and its surrounding counties.
The expansion of the competition has occurred due to a new sponsors and collaborators. Firstly, the Georgia Tech ATDC in Savannah and the Creative Coast Alliance have joined this Center and the Statesboro SBDC in organizing the competition and making it available to a wider set of entrepreneurs and prospective investors. Secondly, further sponsors have been secured including National Electronic Attachments Inc. and Ariel Savannah Angel Partners who join our existing sponsors in offering prizes and further opportunities for entrepreneurs to pitch to local investors.
