5K to “CAP” Alzheimer’s Run
Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in America. With over 5 million people in the USA alone living with the disease. In order to help raise funds to provide research Enactus and Kappa Kappa Gamma are sponsoring a “5K to CAP Alzheimer’s”. On April 27,2013 come out and wear your favorite or most creative hat to help “cap” Alzheimer’s. The race will take place in downtown Statesboro, Georgia starting at the Entrepreneur Zone. Registration is at 7 am and the race begins at 8 am. Prizes will be given for the most creative hat in each age group. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt, raffle ticket and race packet. T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who register before April 20th. Race Day Registration will take place at 7am at the Entrepreneur Zone.
