Georgia Southern’s Cybersecurity Program of Study Approved by NSA for 5 years
As part of Georgia Southern’s re-designation process as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NSA CAECD), Georgia Southern’s Specialization in Cybersecurity within the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) was approved by the NSA on October 3, 2022, for five years. The approval of our PoS is a significant step forward toward earning re-designation (similar to accreditation) as an NSA CAECD, and validates our Cybersecurity curriculum.
