Scott Taylor Elected Staff Council Chair

Scott Taylor, Coordinator for Academic Intervention and Outreach for the Academic Success Center, has been elected Chair of Staff Council at Georgia Southern University. The Chair presides at all meetings and is responsible for upholding procedures and appointing special committees. Additionally, the Chair serves as the voting delegate to the University System of Georgia State Staff Council. Taylor begins his term as Chair on July 1, 2022, and continues through June 30, 2023.

The Mission of the Council is to advance the exchange of information, provide a common voice for ideas and concerns, and maintain a communication link between staff members and University administration to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
