Updated Organizational Structure in Academic Success Center

The following organizational changes were made within Academic Success Center leadership, effective July 1:

Jessica Williamson has been promoted to assistant vice president for Student Success and director of the Academic Success Center. Williamson will assist Reggie Simpkins, associate vice president for Student Success, with student retention, progression, and graduation efforts. Additionally, she will assist Alejandra Sosa Pieroni, executive vice president for Enrollment, Marketing, and Student Success, with leadership development, intentional culture building, and succession planning efforts for the new division.

Malerie Payne, Ed.D., has been promoted to associate director for the Academic Success Center. Payne will lead assessment efforts for the unit. Payne will also assist Jessica Williamson, assistant vice president for Student Success and director of the Academic Success Center, with strategic planning and implementation of high-quality academic support initiatives.

Madison Murphy has formally stepped into the role of Educational Programs Coordinator for the Academic Success Center. Murphy will oversee the coordination and delivery of educational support programs and initiatives. Murphy will also directly supervise the Educational Program Specialist team, manage the university Learning Support program, academic skill workshops and consultations, and department outreach initiatives.
