IT Internship – Chatham Capital Group
Established in 1996, Chatham Capital Group is a Registered Investment Adviser with offices in Savannah and Hilton Head. Chatham Capital provides unbiased wealth management advice to individuals, families and their related foundations.
The opportunity described below will provide the intern direct experience developing tools and processes that improve the efficiency and success of almost any business.
Internship Description
Under the guidance of our Director of Technology, the intern will focus on:
- Developing an analytical tool that provides a report on local market information relevant to Chatham Capital. Through internet data mining, the program would run monthly reports providing information that:
- Identifies new, local prospects – liquidity events-business and land sales, new residents moving into expensive homes, etc.
- Provides analysis of local competitors – news on hiring/terminations, website changes, etc. of competitors
- Gathers and summarizes information on the local economic activity – new/growing businesses, major projects, major social events, etc.
- Researching, identifying and evaluating online sources that would enable Chatham Capital to outsource various operational functions. Examples of tasks that could be outsourced include, but are not limited to:
- Payroll, billing, bookkeeping and healthcare administration
- Office supply ordering
- Creation of marketing materials such as website and brochure design
- Prospect targeting
Requirements/Qualifications
- Record of academic success, especially with project-oriented tasks.
- Demonstrated interest in problem-solving.
- Ability to think creatively.

Details
The position is open immediately. Workweek hours are flexible, however, more hours per week is preferred over fewer in order to complete the projects in a timely manner. Compensation: $15-$20 / hour depending upon the candidate. Location is midtown Savannah. Beverages and snacks provided.
