CPT Madalynne Hanna

CPT Merri Madalynne Hanna joined the Eagle Battalion in Winter 2024 and serves as one of our MS
MS2 Instructors.

CPT M. Madalynne Hanna was born in Enterprise, Alabama and was raised in a military family her entire
childhood. CPT Hanna commissioned as a Military Police Officer in 2016 from Oregon State University’s
Army ROTC Program. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Applied Visual Arts and
minored in both Military Science and Art History. Her military education includes the Military Police
Basic Officer Leader Course, FEMA Incident Command System Level 3 and 4, Air Assault School, Airborne
School, and the Maneuver Captains Career Course.

She most recently served as a Company Commander of the 194th Military Police Company out of Fort
Campbell, Kentucky. Her other previous assignments include serving as a Platoon Leader, Company
Executive Officer, and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer.
Her awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army
Achievement Medal (2 OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army
Service Medal, Parachutist’s Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge
(GOLD).

CPT Hanna is married to CPT Mark Hanna. They both reside in Pooler, GA with their dogs (Oakley and
Denali) and cat, Gus.
