Oil Spill Cleanup
Activity Summary
Students watch a video on the Gulf Oil Spill (Dark Waters Ahead – http://www.gpb.org/georgiaoutdoors). Students then perform an activity where they simulate an oil spill in a small container. They then use various methods of cleaning it up and determine the effectiveness and
cost of each.
