Employers & Presenters
Parker Career Connection will be held on February 20, 2024 in Statesboro, GA from 5:00-7:30pm, with check-in beginning at 4:00pm.
The Parker Career Connection puts you in front of students ready to learn and grow as young professionals, and provides you with extra networking time with the talent offered by the Parker College.
Participating organizations are encouraged to join Parker Career Connection as a business-talent specific opportunity that enhances visibility at and participation in the university’s larger career fairs. This evening event consists of an employers’ gallery, “Mocktail Mixer” networking area, and industry-focused moderated panel sessions.
Registration
Registration for employers/presenters takes place through Handshake. Complete your registration here. Participation in the Parker Career Connection is assessed at a fee of $300.00 per organization, with all funds collected benefitting Parker College of Business students.
Event Participants receive the following:
- Free parking & arrival assistance
- One 6-ft booth space in the Employers’ Gallery
- Access to the “Mocktail Mixer” food & beverage to network with students
- Opportunity to send a rep to participate in a moderated panel session
Industry-focused moderated panel sessions are designed to better highlight company opportunities and specific professional development advice delineated as follows:
- Data, Analytics, & Forecasting
- Financial Services
- Management, Government, & HR
- Marketing, Sales, & Retail
Sponsorships
Organizations are able to sponsor the event beyond general participation, and these options are available for purchase in Handshake.
Event Sponsor ($550.00) – Sponsors receive high-top table signage at the “Mocktail Mixer” and premium booth placement.
Mocktail Mixer Sponsor ($950.00) – Sponsors receive the above as well as company signage at the Mocktail Bar.
Team Captain Sponsor ($2,000) – Sponsors receive the above as well as interactive career signage throughout the event. Includes registration at either the university’s larger technical or non-technical career fair events.
Career Champion Sponsor ($3,000) – Sponsors receive the above as well as large display welcome and digital signage throughout the event. Includes registrations at both the university’s larger technical and non-technical career fair events.

Arrival Information
Presenters will arrive to and check-in at the Russell Student Union. Further instructions will be provided to presenters and updated here closer to the event date.
