What is Sustainability?
To incorporate the complexities of communities and individuals and the relationship to each other and the environment, Georgia Southern University defines sustainability as consistent with the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), by stating “Sustainability encompasses human and ecological health, social justice, secure livelihoods, and a better world for all generations.”
