Why join the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Program at Georgia Southern?

  • Earn both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in as few as five years—saving significant time and money.
  • Use your Master’s to specialize in a particular area of mechanical engineering, such as robotics, aerospace, or renewable energy.
  • Pursue better job opportunities and higher positions than are typically available with simply a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Engage in cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with faculty members  and contribute to advancements in the field.
  • Use your position as a graduate student to network with professors, fellow students and professionals in the industry.

The Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s program at Georgia Southern puts students on the fast track to a rewarding and well-compensated career in Mechanical Engineering. Not only will you learn the engineering sciences as they apply to mechanical and thermal systems (with application in energy, materials, transportation, health, manufacturing, consumer products and more), but your Master’s degree will allow you to specialize—once you already understand the fundamentals and can make an informed decision.

This means you can enter the job market ahead of schedule and with a technical head start, pursuing better pay, advanced positions and more critical work. Whether it’s a lifelong career in robotics, aerospace, alternative energy, or any number of cutting-edge fields, our accelerated program can get you there.
