Curriculum Vitae


Andrea Corradi has recently joined Georgia Southern University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, following the completion of her Ph.D. in Criminology at Penn State.

Andrea is a mixed-methods researcher, publishing using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including a recent publication using social network analysis in Social Networks. Her work has also been published in Justice Quarterly, Security Journal, and the Journal of Qualitative Criminal Justice and Criminology. Her research interests include the intended and unintended consequences of the use of social control mechanisms in society, especially in the areas of incarceration, security, extremism, and policing.
