EAGLE Academy is a two year, non-degree program. Students will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment upon completion of the program. Students are eligible to receive college credit or audit courses. As a Certified Comprehensive Transition Program, approved by the Department of Education, EAGLE Academy students are eligible to receive financial assistance.

Program Format

Each Program of Study includes 50% of coursework in existing Georgia Southern University courses in areas of interest to the student.  These courses will be taken for credit or audit as deemed appropriate.  The remaining 50% consists of work internships and EAGLE Academy classes in career, social, academic, and life skills development.  The students’ individual needs and goals will determine the courses that are taken.
