Why Disability Awareness Month Matters
At Georgia Southern University, Disability Awareness Month is more than just a series of events—it’s a commitment to building an accessible campus where every student can thrive. Hosted by the Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC), this month-long celebration raises awareness, encourages inclusion, and highlights the resources available to students with disabilities.
By participating in these events, you’ll help promote equity, support advocacy, and strengthen the Georgia Southern community.
