Georgia Southern Alumni Night with the Atlanta Thrashers is Feb. 9

Join Georgia Southern University alumni, family, and friends for fun and festivities as the Atlanta Thrashers meet the Tampa Bay Lightning at Philips Arena Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. Pre-game festivities are planned for 5-6 p.m. at Headlines Grill, located in the Philips Arena. The cost per person is $17, which includes the pre-game social with cash bar and your ticket to the game. Tickets must be ordered by January 21, and can be purchased either by check or credit card.

You must have a voucher for the pregame event and a ticket to the game to enter. Both will be mailed to you before the event. Door prizes will be awarded during the evening. Directions: To reach Headlines Grill, enter the last set of glass doors in CNN Center. Proceed through the doors down Hawk Walk, past the Team Gear Store, and there will be steps leading to the Headlines Grill. If you walk past the steps, an elevator is available. Additional notes for alumni: The West Metro Eagle Club meets the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (unless otherwise notified). Because the third Monday of January is the MLK holiday, the next social will take place Monday, Jan. 28 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 5000 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway, Hiram, Ga. 30141. The Atlanta Eagle Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (unless otherwise notified).
