Dining Enhancements Coming to the Armstrong Campus

Dining is about more than food. It creates spaces where students gather, connect, and build community. Whether meeting friends between classes, studying over a meal, or celebrating campus traditions, dining plays an important role in the daily life of the Georgia Southern community.

Beginning June 1, Georgia Southern University will enhance dining on the Armstrong Campus by expanding its partnership with Elior Collegiate Dining, a dining provider that already serves students on the East Georgia Campus. The partnership has been successful in bringing greater menu variety, chef-inspired concepts, and student-focused service to East Georgia. By expanding that relationship, the University will bring many of those same benefits to Armstrong.

The enhanced dining program will introduce expanded hours, new dining concepts, and additional options designed to better match student schedules and preferences.

Students can look forward to expanded service at The Galley Dining Commons, which will offer continuous dining service from 7:30am to 7:00pm, seven days a week. The extended hours are designed to provide greater flexibility for students balancing classes, work, activities, and study time.

Across campus, students will also see an expanded range of dining options. New concepts will offer a variety of menu choices including global cuisine, comfort food favorites, fresh salads and bowls, allergen-friendly options, grab-and-go meals, and specialty desserts. These additions are designed to give students more variety and convenient options throughout the day.

Popular campus dining locations will remain available, including Chick-fil-A and Starbucks. Students will continue to enjoy these familiar favorites while also experiencing new dining destinations and expanded menu offerings.

The enhancements reflect the University’s commitment to providing a dining experience that supports both student success and campus life. Dining spaces serve as important gathering places where students connect with peers, build friendships, and engage in the campus community.

By building on a successful partnership and introducing expanded hours and new dining concepts, Georgia Southern is creating a dining program that better reflects the needs and expectations of today’s students.

Additional information about dining concepts, hours, and campus dining events will be shared as the enhancements are implemented.
