The NPHC Park, constructed next to the Carruth Building and overlooking Lake Wells on the Statesboro campus, opened in the fall of 2021. The Park was designed to symbolically and physically represent each NPHC Greek-letter organization’s presence on campus. It provides students, alumni, parents, and other campus community members a place of belonging—to contemplate and remember, gather and celebrate, while educating students about the history of these diverse organizations.
You can become a part of Georgia Southern history and cement your legacy with a personalized brick or bench at the NPHC Park. These commemorative items create a permanent and lasting memory while supporting a worthy cause. Funds raised from the sale of bricks and benches are designated for the NPHC Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for active undergraduate members of the NPHC council on the Statesboro campus.
What Is the NPHC Park?
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) was organized in May 1920 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The NPHC is a non-profit, private organization that recognizes the need for coordination of activities of inter-collegiate based Greek fraternities and sororities and makes certain that all member organizations have unanimity of thought, action and mutual interest. The council serves as a forum for the discussion of their common problems; however there is a respect for the rich history and autonomy of each organization represented.
NPHC is composed of nine International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities. The Council was established on November 10, 1999 on the Statesboro campus of Georgia Southern University. Notwithstanding, some of the current NPHC member organizations were chartered on campus as early as 1977. Since then, NPHC organizations have continued to band together to make a collective difference within Georgia Southern and the Statesboro community.
NPHC Park Location

Personalized Brick – $250
Your $250 donation includes a custom engraved brick placed within your chapter’s plot.
Note: Kappa Alpha Psi is not accepting brick orders at this time.
Commemorative Bench – $3,000
A gift of $3,000 will be recognized with your name on a plaque beneath a bench within your individual chapter’s plot in the NPHC Park. Benches are limited to two per organization and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bricks are purchased in bulk to maximize contributions to the scholarship fund, ensuring that a greater portion of your donation supports scholarships. Please note that bricks and benches will only recognize individual chapter members of the NPHC organizations on the Statesboro campus.
