Lactation Space

A private lactation space is located on the Statesboro campus in the Forest Drive Classroom Building room 1306. This room has comfortable seating, a refrigerator and microwave as well as a sink located just outside the door. This room is kept unlocked in order for students to access it when needed.

For a list of all lactation spaces on campus as well as additional resources for pregnant and parenting students, please see the Equal Opportunity and Title IX website here.

Our Partners

Student Wellness and Health Promotion seeks to create an environment where all students can thrive on campus and within the wider community through a wide range of programs, services and resources. We are able to do this through partnerships with organizations on campus and in our community. We develop, promote, and advocate for a campus and community environment that creates, emphasizes and supports healthy choices and positive decision-making regarding health, safety and wellness in partnership with many Student Affairs departments, several academic units, student organizations, peer educators, and state and local agencies. See below for more information on our efforts with our committed partners.
