M.C. Anderson Park in Statesboro
M.C. Anderson Park is home to the Recreation Activity Center on Georgia Southern’s Statesboro campus. This 70-acre outdoor recreational park has activities free to the public for all ages and is a frequent host for tournaments and events from the local level to the national stage.
M.C. Anderson Park has been enjoyed by the local community for decades and received major renovations alongside the RAC in 2007.

The Sports Complex in Statesboro
Resting beside Beautiful Eagle Creek, The Sports Complex is home to both Kiwanis Field and Rotary Field. These two softball fields are conveniently located next to Eagle Field and the J.I. Clements Stadium, giving the community a series of fields to play and watch together.
The Sports Complex is among the oldest athletic fields on Georgia Southern’s Statesboro campus with its dedication held on the United States Bicentennial on July 4, 1976. The first games on these historic fields were played on October 11, 1976.

The Recreation Fields in Savannah
The Recreation Fields are a series of professional fields just outside of the Armstrong Recreation Center on Georgia Southern’s Armstrong campus. Directly next to the Disc Golf Park and the Tennis Complex and a few steps away from the ARC’s side lawn, this large greenspace is the perfect spot to play and relax.

The Tennis Complex in Savannah
The Tennis Complex is the premier venue for tennis matches at Georgia Southern’s Armstrong campus. These twelve tennis courts are equipped for competitive and casual matches with direct access to The Recreation Fields and the rest of the rest of the Armstrong campus.
The Tennis Complex opened on August 18, 2016 and has been the home court for nationally ranked players.

The Disc Golf Park in Savannah
Nestled behind the Tennis Complex and wrapping around the Recreation Fields, the Disc Golf Park takes players through Savannah’s unique woodlands with distant airplanes overhead. The professional-grade 9-hole disc golf course features two tee pads at each hole to double the length of gameplay and accommodate for any skill level.
The Disc Golf Park opened on Georgia Southern’s Armstrong campus on November 19, 2021 and is free to the public from sunrise to sunset every day.
